Instrument Operator
The primary function of the Instrument Operator is to run the data collector, Total Station and GPS units and to follow Party Chief instructions in completion of a field survey.
Requirements:
Associates Degree or High School Diploma with one to two years surveying experience, Valid Drivers License, Good Driving Record, Drug Test required, experience with TDS and/or SMI Data Collection, and experience in performing Boundary, Topographic, and ALTA surveys. Ability to use AutoCAD 2006 and Land Development Desktop a plus.
Working Conditions:
Field crew positions are outdoor positions, 6- to 10-hour days and 5-day work weeks, overtime sometimes necessary, mostly local work in the Lincoln and Omaha area.
